Our History
Established by Mike Land in 1977 in Grand Saline, Texas as Land's Feed Warehouse, we have always been about VALUE and SERVICE, and not just price. With the Morton Salt mining facility in town, it only made sense to distribute Morton ag salt products along with feed. Over the years, we have grown to become one of the LARGEST Salt Distributors in Texas and in the Mid-South region, by adding numerous other Nationwide Salt Producers to our "stable", and by expanding our product line to include water softener, pool salt, and bulk hide tanning salt to the largest beef processors in the country.
Along the way, we also developed our proprietary Brit's Best Select 17% Commodity Mix that has become legendary in the Competitive-Bull Breeders market, as well as for weaned calves and recovering bred cattle, and is used by the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
